How Lover Began

Charity Eden, lead singer of Lover, attended the Eras Tour on March 31, 2023. Sitting just ten feet from Taylor in a front-row floor seat, she was completely wonderstruck by the performance. Who is Charity Eden anyway? Ew.

Charity Eden is a Texas-based musician known for captivating audiences with her charisma and powerfully expressive vocal style. At just seven years old, Charity began seizing every opportunity to perform—whether at church events, school programs, talent shows, or the local Opry in her hometown of Wylie, Texas.

Inspired by artists such as Adele, Paramore, and of course Taylor Swift, Charity’s music is crafted to uplift listeners and transport them into another world. Her ability to connect with audiences and make every person in the room feel seen and engaged has become one of her signature strengths.

Charity’s passion for music continued to grow through college and beyond. She attended the University of North Texas (UNT)—one of the world’s most respected music schools—where she earned a degree in music with a concentration in voice. During her time at UNT, she built lasting connections with some of the country’s most talented musicians.

For more than 15 years, Charity has led her own bands, performing on guitar, piano, and bass guitar. With a strong foundation in music theory, performance, and leadership, she has made a lasting impact on the Dallas–Fort Worth music scene.

In addition to her tribute work, Charity is also an original artist. In 2023 she began releasing her own music and recently released her debut full-length album, “silent conversations.” Her music is available on Spotify, Apple Music, and all major streaming platforms.

Fully committed to bringing this vision to life, Charity left her career in wealth management to pursue the project full-time—and she hasn’t looked back since. She assembled a dedicated team of musicians and creatives and quickly began building an enthusiastic fanbase.
